"Let's start the week productively and look to see how we can change our focus and how we perceive it."Thaddeus Jones. Jr.

Many people believe that focus is keeping on a particular path. However it is more than just staying the course. Focus involves mind, body and soul coming together towards the common goal of pursuing ones passion.

In this case we define passion as the inner goal that drives you everyday and often what you would be doing for free if money were not an option. Many times in this day and age people feel they have to choose between their passions and their ability to provide for their families. What many don't understand is that when you shift your focus to use that which you are already passionate about you begin to work with the universe to open doors and opportunities that would not be available to you.

So with that being said here are my simple steps to focus and passion:

1.      Stop fighting your inner voice - This is the longing a calling a purpose given to you. Now we are speaking on realistic terms this means you know you're not going to the NFL at fifty-five. We are speaking of passions that are attainable through hard work, dedication and reasonable circumstances; sometimes we can wait to late to pursue our passions.

2.      Stop wasting energy focusing on all that you don't have - Being grateful for the things you do have allows you to focus your energy towards building on a solid foundation instead of reinforcing the negative energy having a perfect situation to build from. None of us live in a vacuum so we all are constantly balancing out and compensating.

3.      Finally enjoy your life - Focusing positive - full body mind and spirit energy is about enjoying this existence. Learning from every event and obstacle and using that experience to laser focus your energy on your passions. Enjoying your life is the key to many opportunities and doors that will prepare you to use your gifts to full capacity.
