AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study.

Ron Brown Scholar Program

Description: Scholars program is open to African American/Black high school seniors who excel academically and demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship.

Predoctoral Fellowship

Description: Fellowship is open to all citizens, and permanent residents of the United States, as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the DACA program. Applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an eligible research-based program leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree at a non-proprietary U.S. institution of higher education. Applicant must be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. Membership in one or more of the following groups whose underrepresentation in the American professoriate will be considered a positive factor when choosing candidates: Alaskan Natives, Black/African Americans, Mexican Americans/Chicanas/Chicanos, Native American Indians, Native Pacific Islanders, and Puerto Ricans.

Description: Scholarships are open to high school seniors who are residents and attend school in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino or Ventura counties in California. Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills and a commitment to their communities. In addition to scholarships open to all students, there are specific scholarships open to Hispanic, African-American, and Asian-Pacific Islander students.

Description: Scholarship is open to current high school students who are U.S. citizens with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicant must apply and be accepted to an Historically Black College or University (HBCU) by July 1, 2017. Applicant must demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities.

Historically Underrepresented Groups Scholarship

Microsoft Scholarship Program

Amount: Up to full tuition. Recipient will be required to apply for a summer internship and if offered, must complete the internship at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington.

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled full time in a Bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. Applicant must be pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM degree. Students from underrepresented groups of STEM are encouraged to apply.

ASRT Foundation Scholarship

Description: Foundation has more than 65 scholarships available for the 2017-2018 academic year. Awards are available for all types of radiologic science students regardless of specific area of interest. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to minority students.
