Who created the concept of #TargetMarketing?

Do you know who created the internationally-used concept and principles of 'Target Marketing' (in short advertising to a certain group of people)?

A Black Man, named H. Naylor Fitzhugh. Called the 'Dean of Black Business'. He built Howard's curriculum between 1934 and 1965.

Dr. Fitzhugh received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College, Cum Laude in 1931. And was one of the first African Americans to earn an MBA from the Harvard School of Business, despite the fact that he was PROHIBITED FROM LIVING on campus because of his face!

Amongst his legacy Dr. Fitzhugh measures his own success in the currency of giving. His co-founding of the Negro Alliance was in support of his leadership to change company business policies that supported selling to blacks, but refused to hire them!

His belief was that 'blacks should enter the business field as a way of controlling our destiny'.

A true visionary and a pioneer in research, he let nothing deter his path of excellence, service, leadership, and truth-paving!

~This gives me hope that having attended #PWI my whole life I too can make this type of impact, even still!
