There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday. 

Hsiao Memorial Social Sciences Scholarship
Sponsor: Asian Pacific Fund
Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: June 23, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to graduate students attending a U.S. based college or university in 2017-2018 with preference given to research/study topics that benefit those in social/economic need, especially Asian and Asian American communities. Preference for Asian heritage, but it is not required.

“You Deserve It” Scholarship

Amount: $1,000
Closing Date: June 29, 2017
Description: Scholarship is open to students who are residents of any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or U.S. Territories and are 16 years of age or older and are either enrolled now, or will be enrolled within three months of registration in a qualified high school, college or university in the United States.

$2,000 “No Essay” College Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students enrolled in an academic program in a healthcare field who is at least 18 years of age and a citizen of the United States. Applicant must submit an essay explaining why they should win the scholarship.

Description: Scholarship is open to legal U.S. residents in the United States who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
